A Eurocopter AS332-L2 Super Puma carrying 17 people plunged into the North Sea on 21 November near the Netherlands port of Den Helder, after the pilot reported engine trouble.

Nobody was injured. According to the Netherlands coastguard, the twin-engined helicopter (G-JSAR), operated by Bristow Helicopters and crewed by four personnel, was returning from a North Sea oil platform, from which it had evacuated 13 staff following a power failure. An investigation has been launched.
