Fiji Airways has announced that its regional subsidiary Pacific Sun will be rebranded as Fiji Link in 2014.
“Following the rebranding of Fiji Airways, we made it a priority to create a new identity for our regional carrier,” says Fiji Airways chief executive Stefan Pichler. “‘Fiji Link’ will fulfil its role as an extension of the Fiji Airways network, carrying our customers throughout Fiji and beyond within the Pacific.”
The new branding will be rolled out from the middle of 2014 when the carrier takes delivery of a new ATR 72-600.
The aircraft is being leased from Singapore-based lessor Avation, and will join two ATR 42-500s and three de Havilland Canada DHC 6-300 Twin Otters in the carrier’s fleet.
Fiji Airways was itself rebranded from Air Pacific in June this year.
