TAM has applied retro colour schemes from specific points in the airline's history to a batch of aircraft in its fleet. One of TAM's Airbus A319s is pictured at Rio de Janeiro's Santos Dumont airport in a scheme that dates from the 20th century. TAM, which is Brazil's largest airline, can trace its origins to air taxi company Táxi Aéreo Marília, which was founded in January 1961.
