Bombardier is completing assembly of the first CRJ1000 at its plant in Montreal, through the modification of the CRJ900 prototype.

The 100-seater, the latest member of the CRJ family, is developed from the CRJ900, incorporating a 2.95m (9.7ft) stretch to provide room for three more seat rows at 31in (79cm) pitch.
