Pinnacle appoints CFO

Pinnacle Airlines has appointed Curtis Berchtold as vice-president and chief financial officer.

He will replace Ted Christie who resigned as Pinnacle's CFO in March and is now CFO at Spirit Airlines. Berchtold's start date has yet to be determined.

Prior to his appointment, Berchtold served as chief financial officer for Silver Airways and Corsair Aviation.

He has also served Mesa Air group as intern vice-president of planning during its restructuring.
