Porter passenger traffic up 0.8% in January

Canadian carrier Porter Airlines posted a 0.8% year-on-year increase in its passenger traffic in January.

Capacity increased 4.7% as the load factor fell by 2.1 percentage points to 53.6% for the reporting month.

"These results are good for January, which is typically the slowest period of the entire calendar year," says Robert Deluce, president and chief executive of Porter Airlines.
