Canadian carrier Porter Airlines has reported its highest July load factor, 66.8%, a 4.8 point improvement from one year ago.
Traffic at the carrier, measured by revenue passenger miles, rose 26.1% to 77.4 million, a third consecutive monthly record, according to Porter. Capacity increased by 16.9% year-over-year.
Porter president and chief executive officer Robert Deluce said that the results indicate "strong performance in all 16 Porter markets in Canada and the US".
The carrier's year-to-date load factor is 57.5%, 6.8 points higher than in 2010.
