UK business aviation services provider PremiAir has added three Bombardier Learjet 45s to its aircraft operator's certificate. Two of the superlight business jets were acquired in August following PremiAir's acquisition of Gold Group International's Biggin Hill airport-based charter and maintenance company.

The Learjet 45 trio are managed by PremiAir on behalf of its sister company Von Essen.

Matt Ashby, PremiAir's operations manager, says: "The Learjet 45's excellent range, speed, payload and short runway performance makes this a very popular choice of aircraft for our clients. Capable of flying non-stop between London and Moscow, our Learjet fleet is also certificated for London City airport, which adds an important dimension to our private jet services."

PremiAir - which is the largest executive helicopter charter, management and maintenance company in the UK - expanded into the private jet charter and management business earlier this year and now boasts six UK operating bases. Further expansion is planned.
