American Airlines Group-subsidiary PSA Airlines anticipates its first Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft on 21 May, nearly two weeks earlier than previously planned.

In March, the Dayton-based regional carrier disclosed that it expected the first 76-seat aircraft on or around 2 June.

PSA will take delivery of two to three CRJ900s a month for a total of 30 by June 2015. It will operate the aircraft for American.

Fort Worth, Texas-based American has not disclosed when the aircraft will enter service or where it will fly initially.

Bombardier was not immediately available for comment.
