Australia's Qantas Airways is in discussions to acquire Perth-based charter airline Network Aviation, say reports.

The Oneworld carrier plans to buy Network Aviation, which provides transportation for workers in the mining sector, for A$30 million ($28.7 million), say the reports which quoted anonymous sources.

A Qantas spokesman declines to comment on the reports.

Network Aviation operates a fleet of six Embraer EMB-120 Brasilias and two Fokker 100s, according to Flightglobal's ACAS database.
