Qantas will extend its A380 network to include Hong Kong from 15 January 2012, subject to regulatory approval.

Qantas CEO Alan Joyce said Hong Kong is a key market for Qantas and launching a new product on the route is important for both the business and leisure markets.

Qantas will receive its 11th and 12th A380s later this year, providing capacity for four return services per week to Hong Kong, the airline said in a statement.
