QantasLink unveiled its new engineering and maintenance hangar at Brisbane airport on 11 April.

The airline invested Australian dollars (A$) 5 million ($5.3 million) in the hangar that will service its fleet of Bombardier Dash 8 Q400, Q300 and Q200 aircraft.

QantasLink executive manager John Gissing says that this is in addition to the A$30 million that Qantas is investing to upgrade its heavy maintenance engineering facilities in Brisbane as the company consolidates its maintenance work there.
