Qatar Airways is to launch daily flights to Toyko's Haneda airport on 18 June.
Haneda becomes Qatar's third Japanese destination, after Osaka and Tokyo Narita. Both are likewise served daily.
The Doha-based airline will operate the Haneda route using a Boeing 787 configured with 22 business-class and 232 economy-class seats.
Qatar currently flies to 24 Asian destinations. Last year, it added to its network Chengdu and Hangzhou in China, Clark International in the Philippines and Cambodian capital Phnom Penh.
