Qatar's new airport targets 1 April for soft launch

Qatar's Hamad International airport has revealed the 10 airlines scheduled to move to the new hub from 1 April to coincide with the "soft" launch of operations at the site.

Air Arabia, Air India Express, Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Flydubai, Iran Air, Nepal Airlines, Pakistan International Airlines, RAK Airways, Syrian Arab Airlines and Yemenia will move into the new facility, ending their presence at Doha International.

Qatar Airways, meanwhile, will switch its entire operation to Hamad International by the end of 2013.
