Bangladesh's Regent Airways will launch services from Dhaka to Kuala Lumpur on 7 July.
The carrier will operate daily flights on the route using 126-seat Boeing 737-700 aircraft, it says.
Innovata schedules show that the airline will compete with Biman Bangladesh Airlines and Malaysia Airlines on the route.
The airline's managing director Mashruf Habib says that it is also "planning to start flights to Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong and Kolkata within this year".
Regent recently leased two 737-700s from International Lease Finance to commence international services. In addition, it operates 35 return weekly services between Dhaka and Chittagong using two Bombardier Dash 8 Q300 turboprops.
