Republic Airways appoints new finance executives

Republic Airways has appointed Joe Allman as vice-president of financial planning and analysis and treasurer and Ryan Willman as the airline's vice-president and corporate controller.

Since joining Republic in 2007, Allman held the office of vice-president and corporate controller. Prior to the appointment, Willman served BrightPoint Americas as vice-president and controller.

Both Allman and Willman will report to Tim Dooley, chief financial officer, Republic Airways.

Republic has also created a new business transformation process team (BTP), which will be led by Tonya Gilbert as managing director, BTP. Gilbert joined the airline as accounting manager and was promoted to director of finance and assistant controller in 2010.

"We created the business transformation process team to ensure that our business processes and operating decisions provide for competitive operating costs and long-term sustainability," says Dooley.

In addition, Republic has also made the some changes in its finance management team.

The airline has appointed Tara Kamm as managing director of tax. Prior to joining Republic, Kamm was director of domestic taxes at BrightPoint. Heather Stone, director of tax and compliance will assume a newly created role of director of shared services.

Jason Secore, director of fuel management, will add oversight for treasury operations and corporate finance to his current responsibilities. Prior to joining Republic, Secore held various finance roles at US Airways.
