Republic Airways promotes Dooley to CFO

Republic Airways Holdings has promoted Tim Dooley as its SVP, finance and CFO and Lars-Erik Arnell as SVP, corporate development, effective immediately.

Dooley and Arnell will report to company chairman and CEO Bryan Bedford.

Dooley replaces Hal Cooper, who retired from the company on 31 March.

Most recently, Dooley served as VP, financial planning and analysis. He joined Chautauqua Airlines, a Republic Airways' subsidiary, in 1998 as manager of financial planning and analysis, and was promoted to director of the holding company in 2001 and vice president in 2006. Prior to joining Republic, he was an auditor with Ernst & Young.

Arnell is being promoted from VP corporate development. He will continue to be responsible for corporate development and fleet administration - including planning, acquisition, financing, remarketing and sales.

In addition, Arnell will take on responsibility for the airlines' supply chain, contract administration, and properties and facilities functions.

Prior to joining Republic Airways in 2002, Arnell held executive financial positions in the regional airline, air medical transportation, truckload and global manufacturing sectors of the transportation industry. He served as CFO for Burlington Motor Carriers and Business Express Airlines.
