Republic Airways has finalised debt financing from the Brazilian development bank BNDES for its order of 47 Embraer 175 aircraft.

The debt has a 12-year tenor with a full payout at maturity, according to BNDES.

The Indianapolis-based regional carrier disclosed that it was finalising the development bank financing in April.

The first E-175 is scheduled to enter service under a capacity purchase agreement with American Airlines on 1 August.
