Germany's Rheinland Air Service has acquired another ATR 72-210 aircraft from operating lessor Nordic Aviation Capital.

The aircraft (MSN 320) was built in 1992. It was previously operated by American's Executive Eagle.

The transaction follows the sale of a 1994-vintage ATR 72-200 (MSN 429) to the Mönchengladbach-based MRO service provider.

Last month ATR, signed a service and collaboration agreement appointing Rheinland Air Service a new member of ATR's network of partner maintenance centers. The company focuses on aircraft maintenance for different versions of the ATR 42 and the ATR 72, while also offering services on the Boeing 737 series, A319 series, Bombardier and Fokker models.
