Riva Investments Limited, a British Virgin Islands-based lessor, has confirmed it will be the source of two BAe 146 regional jetliners acquired by a Ghanaian start-up carrier.

Riva acquired both aircraft from Falko Regional Aircraft, a company launched in May to purchase the BAE Systems asset management business.

The BAe 146-200 and 146-300 will be delivered in May to Starbow, the operational name of start-up Aero Surveys Limited.

Starbow was launched in September and launched domestic service from Accra, Ghana's capital city, to Kumasi, Tamale and Takoradi.

Starbow also plans to launch service internationally to Abidjan, Ivory Coast; Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso; Monrovia, Liberia and Cotonou, Benin.
