Rolls-Royce opened its first purpose-built field services hub at the main terminal building in Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur International airport on 2 May.
The company says the facility will support its growing civil aerospace customer base in Southeast Asia.
Rolls-Royce adds that the facility, which is equipped with the latest IT infrastructure, will be integrated with its civil aerospace operations centre in the UK. It will provide support to customers such as Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia X.
Mark McGuinness, the chief service representative for Rolls-Royce's civil aerospace division says: "The facility will be the focal point of all our civil large-engine support in Malaysia and will play an important role in the surrounding region."
