The Airline Business World Air Forum lands in Amsterdam on 23-24 October, where airline leaders will discuss the trends that are changing the face of the industry.

Following the success of last year's WAF, the 2012 conference will examine how network, new-model and low-cost airlines are fundamentally changing strategies and the impact this has on airports, manufacturers, IT providers, investors and lessors.

Airlines from across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas will be represented, including Air Arabia, Air Malta, AviancaTaca, EasyJet, Ethiopian Airlines, Oman Air, Vueling as well as British Airways/Iberia parent IAG.

Chief executives from low-cost carriers Air Arabia, Vueling, Estonian Air and Jazeera Airways will discuss how the sector is evolving and it is making a bid for more business travellers.

Other chief executives who will share their wisdom include Peter Davies of Air Malta, Wayne Pearce of Oman Air and Tewolde GebreMariam of Ethiopian Airlines.

Topics for debate include consolidation versus restructuring, building a powerful brand and consumer appeal, new revenue platforms and a macroeconomic view.

This year the forum will take place at the Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre.
