Royal Air Maroc has launched new flights linking Casablanca with the Chad capital N'Djamena.

The carrier launched the service on 17 June, initially operating the route twice-weekly. It plans to add a third weekly rotation shortly.

Royal Air Maroc operates the route using Boeing 737-800 via a stop in the Niger capital Niamey, but says it is considering switching to direct flights once its long-haul fleet is strengthened by the arrival of its first Boeing 787s later this year.
