Oneworld carrier Royal Jordanian Airlines is dropping its services to the Omani capital Muscat later this month.
Royal Jordanian, which has been serving Muscat four times weekly, confirmed the decision during the Arab Air Carriers Organization annual meeting in Algiers.
It says the service will be replaced by a codeshare arrangement with Muscat-based Oman Air. The carrier is axing the service for "commercial reasons".
Oman Air operates seven times per week on the route between Muscat and the Jordanian capital Amman.
Royal Jordanian will stop its flights on the route from 17 November.
