Russian outsize freight specialist Volga-Dnepr has opened a connection to Paris Charles de Gaulle for its AirBridge Cargo operation.

AirBridge says it will serve Paris twice-weekly with Boeing 747 freighters, linking the French capital with Moscow Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo.

Paris takes the number of destinations served by AirBridge in Europe to seven. The carrier, the scheduled arm of Volga-Dnepr, has a fleet of 10 747s.

AirBridge also operates to Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Maastricht, Malmo, Zaragoza and Milan within Europe.
