Ryanair boosts Edinburgh services

Low-cost carrier Ryanair will launch six new routes from Edinburgh and two from Glasgow Prestwick in its summer 2013 schedule.

New flights from Edinburgh will go to Bologna, Beziers, Cagliari, Corfu, Katowice and Santander, Ryanair will also increase frequencies on five other routes.

The new destinations from Glasgow Prestwick are the Polish airports of Rzeszow and Warsaw Modlin. It will also boost frequencies on four other routes, it says.

The airline also plans two additional routes from Strasbourg to London Stansted and Porto from March 2013 with a total of 10 weekly flights. And Brive will become the 29th French city served by the carrier with the start of services to Maastricht from April 2013, it says.
