Irish budget carrier Ryanair's new connections to Fuerteventura from the UK mark its return to the resort a year after a dispute prompted the airline's withdrawal.
The carrier axed its Fuerteventura services after a row with the local tourism authority.
But it has already disclosed that it plans to open new connections from Glasgow Prestwick and Bournemouth, and Ryanair is also intending to serve the resort from another eight locations.
The carrier says the decision follows an agreement from the local government to extend a discount scheme at Canary Islands airports to 2012.
Ryanair will operate to Fuerteventura from Brussels Charleroi, Dublin, Dusseldorf Weeze, Frankfurt Hahn, Liverpool, Madrid, Milan Bergamo and Pisa from the end of March next year.
