Irish budget carrier Ryanair is axing all six of its routes from the Swiss city of Basle in a dispute over airport charges.
Ryanair operates to Stockholm Skavsta, London Stansted, Marseille, Cagliari, Porto and Alicante from Basle with a total of 18 weekly flights.
But it says the airport operator has "refused" to lower charges in parallel with the decline in fare prices, despite being offered an extra 13 flights per week.
Ryanair is to close all six services from 2 December. It claims the closure will result in the loss of up to 250 local jobs.
Basle Airport's operator could not immediately be reached for comment.
