Government has commissioned a new terminal radar at the country’s capital
Sarajevo International Airport.
combined S-band primary radar and monopulse secondary radar have been installed
by French firm Thales ATM to improve the surveillance capabilities within
Sarajevo terminal airspace.
transport minister Nedzad Brankovic inaugurated the system earlier this month.
ATM has previously provided Bosnian authorities with air traffic management
equipment including ground-based navaids and instrument landing systems.
