Bosnia-Herzegovina’s Government has commissioned a new terminal radar at the country’s capital Sarajevo International Airport.

The combined S-band primary radar and monopulse secondary radar have been installed by French firm Thales ATM to improve the surveillance capabilities within Sarajevo terminal airspace.

Bosnian transport minister Nedzad Brankovic inaugurated the system earlier this month.

Thales ATM has previously provided Bosnian authorities with air traffic management equipment including ground-based navaids and instrument landing systems.
