SAS Group witnessed a 4.2% increase in traffic in May against the same month last year.
Capacity grew 1.5% as passenger numbers increased 2.3% to 2.66 million, resulting in a 1.9 percentage point increase in load factor to 75.3%.
At its Scandinavian Airlines unit, which includes subsidiary Blue1, traffic grew 4.2% and capacity grew 1.5%, resulting in a 2 percentage point increase in load factor to 75.9%.
Its Wideroe unit saw traffic and capacity both grow by 2.3% in May. Passenger numbers grew 9.7% to 253,000 as load factor remained flat at 60.3%.
SAS Group also holds minority stakes in Air Greenland and Estonian Air, and formerly owned part of the now defunct Skyways Express.
