SAS Group posted a 0.5% year-on-year increase in RPK traffic in March, despite passenger numbers falling by 5.8% to 2.31 million.
Group ASK capacity also increased by 0.5%, while load factor remained flat at 72.3%.
Traffic on intercontinental routes operated by mainline airline SAS grew by 3.3%, while capacity was up 1.2%. Domestic traffic was down 12.5% on capacity reductions of 13.4%.
Subsidiary Widerøe posted a 1.9% increase in passenger traffic, with capacity growing by 1%. Load factor climbed by 0.5 percentage points to 56.6%.
The subsidiary carried 229,000 passengers in March - up 0.8% year-on-year.
