Scandinavia's SAS Group is to open a new specialised transatlantic service connecting the oil centres of Stavanger, in Norway, with Houston.
It will offer an all-premium Boeing 737-700 on the route, configured only with 44 business-class seats.
The aircraft will be operated by Swiss business charter specialist PrivatAir, but carry SAS Group branding.
SAS Group says the six-times weekly operation will commence on 20 August. Chief executive Rickard Gustafson says the “tailored” operation is aimed at a “defined market with particular travel needs”.
