Saudi Arabian Government orders three more A330 tankers

Airbus is to book another three A330 airframes into its backlog after securing an increased order for tankers from the Saudi Arabian Government.

No engine selection has been disclosed.

The Saudi ministry of defence agreement brings to six the number on order, following a contract for an initial three last year.

Delivery of the first aircraft is scheduled for 2011.
