Middle-Eastern carrier Saudi Arabian Airlines has selected Goodrich to provide wheels and carbon brakes for the airline's fleet of 12 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

Under the agreement, Goodrich will supply the carrier with Duracarb proprietary braking system, which offers a claimed 35% brake life improvement against its rivals, said the manufacturer.

Saudi Arabian's first 777-300ER aircraft is scheduled for delivery in January 2012.

The deal complements the airline's existing Goodrich-equipped fleet of 747-400 and 777-200 aircraft.
