Saudia is to restart its Jeddah-Manchester service in April, having axed the route in 2007.

The new UK service will be operated thrice weekly, and Innovata schedules data shows it will be the only link between the two cities.

The airport says the new Jeddah route is expected to attract a range of leisure and business passengers, and is timed to suit Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages.
