Singapore Airlines's low-cost, long-haul subsidiary Scoot will commence operations on 26 June with a daily Singapore-Sydney service.
The carrier will also start a five-times weekly Singapore-Gold Coast service on 27 June.
It will operate Boeing 777-200s on both routes.
"Scoot will continue to offer exceptional value and give more people more opportunity to travel farther," said its CEO Campbell Wilson.
Scoot has taken delivery of its first aircraft and will take delivery of its second on 30 March.
