Philippine carrier Seair will launch domestic jet services from Manila to Cebu and Davao under its partner airline programme with Tiger Airways.
The carrier will start Manila-Cebu service from 1 July and flights from Manila to Davao will be effective 2 July.
Seair will operate up to 10 daily flights to and from Cebu, and six daily services to and from Davao from its jet operations base at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
The Cebu and Davao service are the first domestic flights under the Seair-Tiger Airways partner airline programme, which allows Seair to distribute its seats through Tiger Airways' internet booking system, says Seair.
It will deploy Airbus A320 family aircraft on the routes, it adds.
According to schedules in innovate, Airphil Express, Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines operate direct flights on both routes. In addition, Seair will also compete on the Manila-Davao route with Zest Air.
