Thai Airways International's search for a new president is now actively underway, following the abrupt resignation of its top executive in November.
The Star Alliance carrier says in a statement that it recently appointed a committee to select a new president, who must be a Thai national not more than 58 years old.
It says applications for the top management job will be accepted until 13 February.
Thai is suffering financially and its last president, Apinan Sumanaseni, resigned in November, citing health problems and disagreements with the national carrier's board.
Executive VP Narongsak Sangapong is currently filling in as acting president.
