Erik Dahmen has joined SGI Aviation as advisor on aircraft marketing and sales.
SGI says the addition of Dahmen will allow to actively re-market the current portfolio of aircraft managed by SGI.
Dahmen has 20 years of experience in the industry. He started his leasing career as commercial director in 2001, based in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
Until 2010 Dahmen ran the aircraft marketing activities for Waha Capital (formerly Oasis Leasing). The same year he was retained by Bahraini investment bank Gulf Finance House, to help set up a Sharia compliant leasing company.
More recently he was a founding partner of Armada Aviation Capital, an aviation finance & leasing consultancy company. As Armada he advised start-up airlines, and built on his particular affinity with the Middle East markets.
