Chinese carrier Shandong Airlines will launch four new domestic services on 1 June.
The airline will begin daily Chongqing-Xian, Chongqing-Wuyishan-Xiamen and Wenzhou-Qingdao-Shenyang services, as well as thrice weekly Qingdao-Tianjin-Baotou services, it says.
It did not specify the type of aircraft it will use on the four services.
Innovata schedules show that Shandong Airlines will compete with carriers such as Air China, China Eastern Airlines and Sichuan Airlines on the Chongqing-Xian route.
In addition, the carrier received its fifth Boeing 737-800 aircraft on 27 May.
The aircraft bears the registration B-5728 and serial number MSN 40020. Flightglobal's Ascend Online fleets database shows that the aircraft is owned by ICBC Leasing.
