Moscow Sheremetyevo airport’s operator is to sell shareholdings in Vladivostok airport and its joint-stock terminal management company.
It is putting a 52.16% share of the airport – its entire stake – up for sale as well as a 74.99% share of Terminal Vladivostok.
Sheremetyevo’s operator says it is inviting parties to put forward offers by the end of October.
It states that the sale of the shareholdings is part of a strategy to deal with non-core assets.
Vladivostok airport, it adds, is a crucial to the transport infrastructure in the far eastern region of Russia.
Sheremetyevo airport’s operator served as the primary investor in the construction of Vladivostok’s new terminal. Last year the airport handled 1.85 million passengers, a rise of 14%.
