Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Ethiopian Airlines will further expand their codesharing agreement starting 3 December.
SIA will place its code on Ethiopian-operated Addis Ababa-Bangkok-Singapore service. This will then be expanded to cover services from Addis Ababa to Pointe Noire, Accra, Mombasa, Nairobi, Kigali, Dar es Salaam and Entebbe, upon obtaining regulatory approvals.
Ethiopian, meanwhile, will place its code on SIA-operated services from Singapore to Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
The two Star Alliance members began codesharing in November 2011 and the codeshare now covers routes from Addis Ababa and Singapore to Bangkok, Dubai and New Delhi.
