Singapore Airlines (SIA) has expanded its codeshare agreement with Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) to cover eight additional destinations across three European countries.
SIA has placed its code – with immediate effect – on SAS-operated services from Copenhagen to Berlin and Hamburg in Germany; Palanga and Vilnius in Lithuania; and Gdansk, Poznan, Warsaw and Wroclaw in Poland, says the Singapore flag carrier.
In August, the two carriers also added destinations in Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand to their codesharing agreement.
The two Star Alliance members received final regulatory approval for a joint venture in November 2012.
Singapore Airlines operates a five times weekly Singapore-Copenhagen service, with SAS codesharing on the flights.
