Singapore Airlines (SIA) plans to resume its Singapore-Athens service on a seasonal basis, starting 9 June 2014.

The carrier says it will operate a twice weekly service, using Boeing 777-200ER aircraft, until 9 October 2014.

Innovata schedules show that SIA will be the only operator on the Singapore-Athens route.

The airline suspended year-round services to the Greek capital in October 2012, citing challenging operating conditions.
