Singapore Airlines' (SIA) has reported 0.6% decrease in RPKs in October from the corresponding period a year ago.
The number of passengers carried by the airline fell 1.8% to 1.4 million, says the Star Alliance carrier.
Capacity, as measured in ASKs, grew 1.4% due to additional frequencies to Houston, Manchester, Hong Kong, Seoul and Delhi, adds SIA. The load factor declined 1.5 percentage points to 79.6%.
In the cargo market, SIA's revenue freight tonne kilometres grew by 9%. Cargo capacity was 7.4% higher and the load factor rose by 1 percentage points to 66.4%.
