Sichuan Airlines will launch three new domestic services in July and has resumed two routes at the end of June.
The airline will start a Chengdu-Zhongwei service and daily Kanas-Urumqi service on 1 July. This will be followed by a thrice weekly Chongqing-Baotou-Jining service to be launched on 9 July, it says.
It will also increase frequencies on 10 domestic routes from 1 July. The carrier will launch an additional daily service on the Chengdu-Jiuzhaigou, Kunming-Chongqing-Dalian, Jiuzhaigou-Chongqing, Chengdu-Lhasa, and Jiuzhaigou-Xian routes. This will be followed by an additional once weekly frequency on the Chengdu-Guilin route, and two weekly frequencies on the Chengdu-Yichang and Chengdu-Kunming routes.
Sichuan Airlines will also add thrice weekly and four times weekly services on the Mianyang-Lijiang-Nanjing and Kunming-Xining routes respectively.
In addition, the airline resumed four times weekly Kangding-Chongqing and thrice weekly Panzhihua-Chengdu services on 28 and 29 June respectively.
Sichuan Airlines says Airbus A319 aircraft will be used on the new routes and additional services, except for the Chongqing-Baotou-Jining, Kunming-Xining and Chengdu-Guilin services.
