Fiji's Air Pacific has placed a firm order for Rolls-Royce's Trent 700 engines to power three Airbus A330-200s.

The agreement, which includes long-term support, is valued at Fiji dollars 370 million ($210 million).

The aircraft, Air Pacific's first Airbuses, are due to be delivered from March 2013.

The A330s will be deployed on the airline's international services from Fiji to Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Sydney and Auckland.
