Singapore Airlines will add a third daily service to the Singapore-Tokyo Haneda route from 30 March 2014.
The additional flight will be operated by an Airbus A330-300 aircraft and will add nearly 2000 seats per week to the route, SIA says.
It will also increase the Star Alliance carrier’s services between the two cities to five times daily. The other two services operate to Narita International Airport.
Innovata schedules show that SIA competes against All Nippon Airways and Japan Airlines on the Haneda route. On the Narita route, it competes against the two Japanese carriers as well as Delta Air Lines and United Airlines.
