Lufthansa Technik has won a contract to supply components for Taiwanese carrier Eva Air's fleet of Airbus A321s.

The agreement will cover component overhaul and engineering services, and warehousing and pooling at Lufthansa Technik's facility in Singapore. The MRO provider already supports Eva's Airbus A330s and Boeing 747s.

Lufthansa Technik also added Asiana Airlines and Hong Kong Airlines to its customer base for its Cyclean engine wash. The engine cleaning service is already used by more than 30 airlines.

Separately, Lufthansa Technik Shenzhen (LTS) will expand its facility in the southern Chinese city. It is tripling its workshop and warehouse capacity to almost 25,000m2.

“When the enlarged workshop and warehouse space opens in April, we will be able to expand our service portfolio significantly,” says LTS president and chief executive Bernd Riggers. LTS is a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik and Beijing Kailan Aviation Technology.
