Rockwell Collins has appointed former Boeing executive James Walker as vice president and managing director of Asia Pacific.

Walker will report to Colin Mahoney, senior vice president, international and service solutions for Rockwell Collins.

Walker was most recently chief executive of technology company AutoCRC. He had previously worked for Boeing in Australia for 10 years, where he held various positions including general manager. Walker has more than 25 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry, including 15 years with the Royal Australian Air Force.

“Jim brings a unique combination of regional business acumen, geopolitical savvy and seasoned leadership experience to Rockwell Collins,” says Mahoney. “He complements our existing leadership team and brings us valuable perspectives from his extensive business development experience throughout the Asia Pacific region.”
